KUTUKA NORTH COMMENCE "PROJECT X."

New for 2010 will be Project X, an as-yet un-named class E monster to allow the Bear to maul the tracks next season.

Shrouded in as much secrecy as we can manage, which means not telling Stewert so he can go running his mouth to people like John Lock like last bleedin' time round, she'll break cover next season, but we've begun!

KUTUKA NORTH WEBSITE LAUNCHED

But then you know that, because you're here.

Launched 20/9/09 with the intention of at least a weekly update. Probably more often than that.

KUTUKA NORTH SUFFERS WORST EVER RACE WEEKEND

No two ways about it, 3 DNFs out of 4 races, the new E class car with heavy front end damage, the class D car with body damage to 5 panels, and the c hampionship hopes in ruins, it's the worst result we've ever had.

Started promisingly with the team's first ever 1,2,3 grid slot, but after that...

Race 1 ended for the blue car off the startline as Chris Palmer mis-judged his move to block Harrison's start and tore off the front bumper, putting it through the radiator and the car into retirement.

Better news for the red monster, The Bear setting fastest lap as he scared team leader Lyddall witless on his way to a Kutuka 1-2 finish.

Day 2 and Lyddall again saves the day, because The Bear puts the car in the wall at turn 1 at over 100mph, too busy watching his mirrors in defence to take the corner.

Andrew slid his class D into 3rd place with a pass on Chris Palmer into turn 2, but with Palmer never seeing the move coming there's body contact made and another Kutuka bumper is torn off, Harrison later retiring with a failing water pump.

The double-DNF marks the end of Andrew's run for the championship and puts class D victory also seemingly beyond reach.

That's going to need a LOT of filler.
